Description:

• Arrive early to make sure parking lot signs & cones are set up by 9:30am
• Use the cones to help indicate where people should, and should not, park
• Provide friendly direction, with a smile, to the vehicles entering the parking lot
• Help people out of their cars (if necessary)
• Direct people to the entrance of the school once they get out of their cars
• Only one person needs to stay from 10:00-10:15am. Can alternate weekly

Entry Area Greeters

Schedule: weekly

Day: Sundays

Time: 9:30am - 10:15am

Interests: meeting & greeting new people

Qualifications: friendly, warm & outgoing

Description:

• Come early (9:30am) to make sure bulletins are folded and ready with envelopes, etc. inside
• Greeters should be able to be seen from the parking lot as people approach
• Greet all regulars and new visitors with a smile
• Hand each adult a bulletin and say something like “Welcome, we’re glad you’re here!”
• One person can stay from 10:00-10:15am while the other person joins worship. Can alternate weekly

Welcome Table Hosts

Schedule: weekly

Day: Sundays

Time: 9:30am - 10:15am

Interests: meeting & greeting new people

Qualifications: friendly, helpful & good with people

Description:

• Come early to make sure welcome table is set up and organized
• Greet regulars and visitors as they arrive
• Fill out a name tag for ALL adults and kids, making sure to spell their name correctly
• Direct them to the meeting room and kids rooms (if applicable). Ask if they have any questions.
• Let them know that coffee, water and refreshments will be available after service
• Thank them for coming and tell them how glad we are that they are with us today
• Clear off and store items when finished
• One person can stay from 10:00-10:15am while the other person joins worship. Can alternate weekly

Welcome Sign Holders

Schedule: weekly

Day: Sundays

Time: 9:30am - 10:15am

Interests: welcoming & greeting new people

Qualifications: friendly, helpful & able to be outside

Description:

• Come early to pick up sign and get stationed at street corner
• Use the sign to welcome people and point them to the church as they drive by
• Return sign to church and carefully store with other equipment when finished
• One person can stay from 10:00-10:15am while the other joins worship. Can alternate weekly.
